Magic Windows

Magic Windows shares stories of a girl's memories with her family and her culture. The stories give information about native plants, holidays, art, cooking and animals in Mexico. It is written both in English and Spanish. Accompanying each story is an intricate illustration of the Garza's cut-paper art. It is written in a reflective narrative style which give allows the reader to connect with the information, and Garza's detailed art portrays her passion for culture and her family.
