Set #2

Set # 2 Nonfiction books for children encompass many elements. They teach factual information, provide text features like table of contents, photographs, captions and indexes and sources. Unique to children's nonfiction, is an artistic element. Children are drawn into a book initially by the cover and interior illustrations. So the layout and design are important in order to support the text. In addition, nonfiction books are not just a list of facts, but rather pieces of literature that communicate information.
